In short, the end product is the same. The difference lies in the delivery method. Using a volumetric mixer your mud is fresh as it's being poured and the slump can be adjusted higher or lower on demand. This allows our customers to tackle multiple pieces of a project with the same truck. For example we can set a higher slump for flatwork, and then adjust to a lower slump to pour a curb or invert. Additives and admixes can be changed at any time as well.

A common misconception with volumetric trucks is that they can only hold enough to do a few cubic yards at a time. While this might be true for some other companies, our top notch mixers hold enough material to batch 10 yards of concrete. We can tackle larger pours with ease also by sending out several trucks.
